We had a great overnight outside the cabin, and wonderful stay inside the rest of the time. Friday evening dinner was a potato bar, with homemade ice cream. We then watched a wonderful and inspiring movie - the Queen of Katwe before heading out to the tents.
The next morning we had the wonderful help of two Cedar Badge staffers - Kelly and Eliza to teach the squad some leadership skills before we began our plan for the year.
We appreciated their presentations on both the basics of being a leader and effective planning.
We then spent the remainder of our time creating a charter for the ODD Squad and planning out the monthly activities for the year - and here they are!
